AUDIT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES

ee1

The energy audit is useful for reducing energy consumption and costs, and increasing profitability. After an audit, savings of 15-25% of required energy can be achieved in buildings, 20-50% in lighting and 5-20% in industry.

As an illustration, the results of a heating system audit of a school of 2500m2 are set out below:

The problem: The heating system was over centralized and was totally inefficient.

Proposal: Install an automatic control system that works individually on thermal demands.

Results Achieved:

  • Cost savings of fuel consumed (21% of gas oil consumption).
  • Avoid emission of 23 Tn / Year of CO2 and 66 Kg / year SOx atmosphere.
  • Improve thermal comfort of building occupants.
